About Cenit

Cenit Corporation is a Canadian-based exploration company currently listed as a Tier 2 Resource Issuer that trades on the TSX-Venture Exchange under the symbol CNT. The company’s primary objective is to explore highly prospective base metal projects, particularly copper, to meet the increasing global demand. The company has two focal exploration projects; the Coppercorp Mine Property in Ontario and the Rivière Doré Project in Québec.

Highlights

  •  In June 2011, the Batchewana First Nations and First Minerals Exploration Ltd., Cenit’s Joint Venture Partner for the Coppercorp Project, signed a 2-year agreement for the exploration activity at the Coppercorp Project.

  •  In July 2011, Cenit Corporation and its joint venture partner First Minerals Exploration Limited staked an additional 60 contiguous claims at the Coppercorp Property covering approximately 10 square kilometres. This includes additional claims at the north side of the project adjacent to the Kincaid Breccia and additional claims at the south extension of the past-producing Coppercorp Mine.

  • In May 2011, Cenit acquired 120 mineral claims totaling 6956 hectares in the Rivière Doré Property located 85 kilometers southeast of Val d’Or, Quebec. In July 2011, Cenit Corporation entered into two arm’s length agreements with Mundiregina Resources Inc. to acquire 136 mineral claims covering 8010 hectares in the Rivière Doré area. Across the three agreements, Cenit will obtain a 100% interest in 256 claims collectively covering 14,966 hectares. The claims are contiguous and enveloped by Cartier Resources Inc. and Copper One’s joint venture on the property, where initial surface sampling has indicated mineralization of copper, nickel, gold and platinum group elements.

  •  Cenit commenced a diamond drilling program at the Coppercorp Property in July 2011, to test the B Zone, the depth extension of the past-producing Coppercorp Mine C Zone, SB Zone and the Kincaid Breccia.

  • The Phase I drill program comprising 14 drill holes totaling an estimated 1,200 meters of drilling was completed in August 2011. Significant drilling results from the B Zone include:

-      BCP-1-11 intercepted 5.58 meters of 1.97% Cu and 20.85 g/t Ag

-      BCP-4-11 intercepted 3.65 meters of 1.4% Cu and 3.9 g/t Ag

-      BCP-12-11 intercepted 1 meters of 0.9% Cu

  •  A Surface Sampling Program was also completed at the Coppercorp area to locate the vein system at surface. Surface Sampling results to date include:

-      The North Extension of the original Coppercorp Mine returned 18.7% and 51.6% Cu from grab samples and a grade of 2.17% Cu over 2 meters from channel sampling.

-    The B Zone returned a grade of 4.94% Cu over 3 meters for a strike length of 8 meters at the northern exposure of the zone, and 2.84% Cu over 3 meters for a strike length of 17 meters at the southern exposure of the zone. The B Zone had grab samples assaying 15.8% Cu.

-       The Kincaid Breccia returned assays as high as 3.44% Cu, 29.6 g/t Ag and 0.184 g/t Au from grab samples

  •  A Phase II drill program is currently in progress at the Coppercorp Project.
